Bhavesh Patel’s career spans executive leadership roles in e-commerce, insure tech, telco, and healthcare. He was an early team member of 4 successful ventures: 2 IPOs – Ventro (Chemdex) and OutsetMedical, 2 corporate startups – Walmart.com and TJMaxx.com.
He is currently serving as Vice President, Software, Analytics, Security at Outset Medical, leading the embedded software, web/mobile product, AI/ML analytics, Security, and Cloud infrastructure teams.
Before Outset Medical, at Asurion, he successfully led and merged the newly acquired Tel-Aviv based company and transformed the organization to adopt lean startup methodologies. At TJX, he built a multi-tenant e-commerce platform to launch the TJMaxx.com eCommerce business. During his time at Walmart.com, Bhavesh was responsible for developing all systems, from front-end website/mobile development to back-end supply chain integration with 400+ vendors with automated inventory and order routing systems. He built big data analytic solutions to influence cross-channel customer behavior.
He championed the Walmart.com eCommerce platform and scaled it for multi-billion dollars in revenue. Before Walmart.com, he developed the B2B e-commerce platform for Ventro (formerly Chemdex). Bhavesh received his undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surat, and MS in Computer Science from Temple University.
