Mr. Narin specializes bringing disruptive technologies to market in a way that generates rapid adoption, market leadership and optimizes financial returns. Currently he works for the IEEE International Standards & Technology Organization where he leads business development in the telecom, high-performance computing and open source sectors, helping companies create broad adoption of their innovations via standardization.

Over the past decade Mr. Narin has focused on telecom projects in developing countries. Earlier, he helped launch the broadband industry as vice president of business development at Virata, which had a $4 billion IPO. Mr. Narin also led business development at Chorus Systems, a software platform provider to telecom equipment manufacturers, helping that firm to be acquired by SUN. Immediately post 9/11, Mr. Narin was retained to advise the executive team at InVision, a manufacturer of bomb detection systems, on revamping their product and business strategy, including a major focus on secure networking, positioning the firm for a $1 billion acquisition by GE.

Mr. Narin began his career in NYC where he worked in the Wall Street offices of IBM and Tandem. He is currently based in Silicon Valley

Mr. Narin has an MBA from MIT and graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude. He was an early member of Cloud Audit and was one of the first 25 people to be certified in Cloud Security Knowledge by the Cloud Security Alliance. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and is a Certified Licensing Professional.
