Bruce Kaalund is a Cybersecurity Professional in the Financial Services industry. He has spent 37 years in Information Technology, with the last 20 years focusing on Cybersecurity. He built his experience starting with his service as a commissioned officer in the US Air Force, continuing through his work at companies in the telecommunications, consulting, and shipping industries prior to his present experience. Bruce spent four years as a contributing member of the Cybersecurity Working Group of the Network Reliability and Interoperability Council, an industry-government partnership sponsored by the FCC, to develop cybersecurity best practices for the telecommunications industry as a response to the attacks of 9/11.

A native New Yorker, Bruce is married for over 40 years with 3 children, and holds Bachelor degrees in Chemistry from Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. He serves as a private tutor helping children with math, and as a mentor for veterans making the transition from the military into civilian life, and people wanting to get into cybersecurity. His hobby is landscape and architectural photography, with an interest in railroads, bridges, and mountains.
