Hugo Vliegen brings 25+ years of experience in product innovation & technology leadership roles in Silicon Valley startups and Fortune 100 companies. Integration of Cybersecurity into products and architectures has been an ongoing theme in his career of developing Information Technology products & services for various organizations ranging from Government, Banking, Manufacturing, Transporation, Retail, Utilities, Telecommunications, and more.

Currently, he serves as Vice-President of Product Management for Aryaka Networks, The Cloud-First WAN Company. In this role, he drives the development of innovative cloud services where networking and security are tightly integrated, enabling enterprises to transform into digital and highly agile organizations at a global scale.

Prior to Aryaka, he worked at Cisco Systems, where he served as a Senior Director responsible for a $4 billion enterprise networking & security portfolio.

Hugo is a graduate of the McKinsey Academy Market Assessment Program. Hugo received a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Twente, and MS & BS Industrial Engineering degrees from the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands.
