Josef leads the engineering team at the Fiery Business Unit at EFI. His team creates the world leading Fiery line of products that have captured more than 60% market share in the graphics arts and production printing market. As VP of engineering he manages a worldwide team of engineers covering a wide range of technologies – from ASIC’s to the cloud, machine learning and everything in between. At EFI he overhauled organization structure and engineering development processes, resulting in an unprecedented record for high-quality on-time delivery in a highly complex, joint development environment with OEM partners.

Prior to EFI he held positions in the GPS industry creating and delivering innovative high accuracy mapping and automobile navigation systems

Josef is passionate about building high performing engineering teams and continuous learning. He holds a Ph.D from M.I.T.
