Pratul Kant is a proven Information Security leader and currently heads the Information Security program of a government agency in San Francisco. He has over 25 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors, including working with the technology startups of Silicon Valley and three years at Stanford University.

He combines strong management and leadership skills with a high degree of technical knowledge, the result of being in IT Infrastructure and networking trenches for many years in his career. He specializes in a common sense based approach to Security and collaborates with business leaders who can leverage the Security as an enabler for the business growth.

Outside of the office, Pratul is an active member in the cyber security industry and professional organizations. He frequently collaborates with his alma mater and has been invited to deliver guest lectures in the field of Information Security.

He received his Master of Science (Information Systems) degree from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) degree from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. He is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA.
