Ben has worked for more than 15 years in a digital marketing and demand generation capacity. Through his experience as both an investor, advisor, and consultant to companies ranging from small businesses to publicly-traded companies, Ben has been able to help marketing teams of all sizes reach pipeline and revenue goals.
Ben has numerous achievements that add to his credibility as a thought leader in Marketing. Currently, Interrupt Media helps over 20 clients with their digital marketing campaigns. Prior to starting Interrupt Media, Ben led the digital marketing effort for oPower, a software company that serves the utility industry, through their IPO. Early in Ben’s career he launched the Daily Energy Report, an online cleantech publication. The Daily Energy Report, was featured as “New & Noteworthy” on iTunes as well as included on the “Top 100 Video Podcast” list. Ben was also part of the founding team at Current Energy, an energy services company that won the Energy Innovator’s Award by the Department of Energy for the Current Energy Store.
Ben has spoken at, presented, or moderated talks at South by Southwest, Dreamforce, and KM World as well as led hundreds of webinars that cover marketing, media, energy, information security, or business.
Ben is a University of Georgia alum and currently resides in San Francisco, California. He is the Pardot user group leader for the Bay Area and enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and serves as band leader and drummer for the Brass Animals.
