Joan Yanabu is Vice President, ONEx Enablement at Cisco. Her global organization brings a unified, digital-first mindset to transforming the way that CX, Sales, and Cisco partners adopt new training, content, processes, practices, and tools. Joan is also responsible for influencing Cisco’s greatest talent engine through prediction of future workforce needs across Cisco. A passionate marketer, Joan is driven by innovation and speed to deliver business transformation and impact, bringing a blend of strategy, technology, and analytics to empower customers to help themselves and realize value at every stage of the lifecycle.

Joan joined Cisco in June 2021 from Salesforce, where she was Vice President of Digital Customer Experience, a role that combined data analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology to create best-in-class customer connections and engagements, showing customers how to be successful, and helping them achieve business value. Over thirteen years at Salesforce, Joan created business impact and innovation in many senior roles across marketing, sales strategy and IT operations. Prior to Salesforce, Joan brought her marketing talent to Dell, Williams Sonoma, E.phiphany and Digitas.

A native of Ireland, Joan is based in Marin County, CA. She holds degrees in Strategy and Commerce from National University of Ireland and is an active board member of The Children’s Cottage Cooperative, Marin Country Day School, and the San Jose State University Lucas School of Business. Joan and her husband Reid have three children and two dogs. When she’s not working, you can find her hiking, cooking, enjoying time with friends and relaxing at the beach.
