Area of Expertise

Dr. Michael Tycon received his BSc. from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Subsequently, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, specializing in analytical chemistry and biophysics. Joining BD through the Technology Leadership Development Program, he has held positions across several BD business units, following his passion for the life sciences, especially oncology and diagnostics.

Michael was marketing product manager for the interventional oncology franchise, prior to stepping into a technology scouting role for the diagnostics business unit. In his free time, he enjoys camping, gardening, and wrenching in the garage. He currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ.
