Al Rahrooh is an established professional in the fields of engineering, machine learning, data analysis, entrepreneurship, academia, and leadership. His Ph.D research in Medical Informatics at UCLA encompasses novel applications of artificial intelligence and computational modeling to create clinically useful diagnostic tools that personalize therapy.
Prior to joining UCLA, Al graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a B.S in Biomedicine and minor in Political Science. Al currently works as the Director of Innovation for LeNgineer, an engineering services and R&D company contracted by NASA, to develop and automate the next generation of human space flight systems.
Al also serves as the CTO for Lennovation, a global market focused incubator concentrated in the development of high growth technology that have the final goal of commercialization in the private and public sectors.
