Gene is the head of ecosystem data science on the Facebook App, where his team works hand-in-hand with Facebook leaders to leverage data in the pursuit of driving strategy across product lines.

Prior to his 5+ years at Facebook, Gene worked in analytics roles at Google and Capital One, following bachelors & master degrees in engineering. Gene lives in the Bay Area and enjoys playing racquetball, drinking California wines, and driving fast cars.
