Todd Mitchell BIO:
With more than 16 years of operations management experience, Todd Mitchell came aboard the Ventura Port district in the fall of 2019 with a broad range of project, business, and leadership experience. His role includes oversight of dredging, leasing, property management, facilities, capital projects, the commercial fishing marina, as well as providing financial analytics for District budgeting.
Todd participates in several marine technical committees, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Coasts Oceans Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI) including the Ports and Harbor sub-committee on Sea Level Change for Marine Civil Works and the Ports Conference Planning Committee.
In his past career, Mr. Mitchell received certifications from the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (Certified Mapping Scientist), Association of State Floodplain Managers, the Association of Engineering Technologists of Alberta, GIS Certification Institute, the Canadian Remote Sensing Society, and holds a Survey and Mapping diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta.
Todd was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and his principal hobby is music, including audio engineering.
