Director of Business Development and Survivor Advocacy
The Pride Law Firm

Christy Heiskala is the Director of Business Development and Survivor Advocacy at The Pride Law Firm. She combines her business development background with her advocacy training and personal experience to help the law firm grow and provide the most trauma-informed client support. For twenty years, Christy was a Director of Business Development for architects, engineers, and construction management companies that designed and built life science facilities throughout the West Coast.

After spending eight years navigating the criminal and civil justice systems fighting for her daughter, Christy made a career change to fill a void that was missing from the civil litigation process. Christy received Victim Advocacy training from the Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime and became a Credentialed Advocate.

Christy became one of the first full-time victim advocates working for a civil law firm in the country. Christy is paving the way for future advocates through mentoring and writing a book on how to become an advocate.
