Jessica brings over 25 years of law enforcement experience as a police officer with the Mountain View Department having served in a variety of leadership assignments throughout the department’s divisions. She is currently serving as the Deputy Police Chief overseeing operations and leadership development for the organization.

Jessica served as the first female commander for the Santa Clara County Regional Auto Theft Task Force in 2012 and was awarded the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce’s Athena Leadership Award in 2014. From 2013 to 2019, Jessica served on the planning committee for Women Leaders in Law Enforcement Symposium sponsored by California Chiefs of Police Association.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University in Criminal Justice Administration and is a graduate of a variety of leadership programs, to include the Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program.

Since earning her Master’s Degree in Leadership from St. Mary’s College of California in 2017, Jessica has presented her research on coaching and leadership in law enforcement at the Columbia University Coaching Conference in New York and at the International Leadership Association Conference in Canada. Jessica is married with two children and loves to travel with her family.
