Jodi has received Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in English, both with honors. She is a Phi Theta Kappa honors society member and graduated Summa Cum Laude from CSUS. During the course of her education, she overcame a life-threatening domestic violence incident.
She left her abuser as well as her toxic corporate career after the realization that neither her marriage nor her job were healthy. Her life changed seemingly overnight as she took a leap of faith. It paid off; within a year of this major life shift, she went from entry level to Manager at Capitol Floats in Sacramento, CA and has proudly been running it for two years and counting.
