Lisa Lopez Rossi brings 20+years of government expertise in local jurisdictions throughout the Bay Area. Her most recent experience includes her tenure serving as Administrative Services Director for the City of Half Moon Bay, where she leads Human Resources, Finance, Risk Management and IT divisions. Previously she was Human Resources Director for the City of Emeryville, where she was afforded the opportunity to live outside her regular duties within human resources, including working directly with the city council members, intermittently serving as interim city manager, partnering on budget projections and recommendations, and acting as contract liaison to the Alameda County Fire District.

Prior to working for Emeryville, Lisa has served in a Human Resources leadership role for Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties as well as the Alameda County Fire Department. Her most valued position was her role in San Mateo County as Director of the Commission on the Status of Women. She began her career in government working in the California State Assembly.

Lisa is committed to promoting an environment of collaboration and communication in both her professional and personal endeavors. Lisa believes in being an advocate for the underserved and disadvantaged and tries to incorporate compassion and fairness into her daily life.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University and is a member of the International City Management Association (ICMA), Municipal Management Assistants of Northern California (MMANC) and numerous Human Resources groups. She is on the Board of Directors for the Senior Coastsiders and is currently the Public Policy chair for the local branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). She currently lives in Half Moon Bay with her husband Steve, her mini-schnauzer Belichick and George the Parrot.
