Patty Mitchell has over 20 years of leadership experience in business management, organizational and revenue development, digital media, product marketing, communications, and social impact investing. As senior level executive and entrepreneur, Patty has been involved in several local, national, and international enterprises and knows the ropes first-hand when it comes to successfully navigating business life-cycles, creating, and iterating on strategic and operational plans, go-to-market strategies, and winning customer-development programs.

Patty served as GM and CRO for a next-generation marketing analytics company, President of Consumer Media for Move Inc/Realtor.com, SVP Worldwide Sales at Six Apart, makers of Moveable Type, TypePad, and LiveJournal. Prior to Six Apart, Patty served as SVP of National Sales and GM for Knight Ridder’s RealCities Network, GM for Citysearch.com, and held leadership positions with CBS/Infinity Broadcasting, Target Corporation and Lord & Taylor Department stores.

Today Patty’s consulting practice focuses on social impact ventures, dual bottom-line companies and public benefit organizations building tools and services to address the key issues facing the world today: building safer, more robust, and resilient communities and enterprises, creating good jobs, sustainable revenue streams, and making a positive impact in the world. In the past two years, she’s work with several social-profit organizations, Ureeka (ureeka.biz) White Pony Express (whiteponyexpress.org) and the Institute for Nonprofit News (inn.org)
