Tina Tung is a technology leader, serial entrepreneur, and businesswoman. Her expertise is in software, health-tech, and retail. She has over 17 years of experience in the software technology industry for companies of all sizes. She is the founder and CEO of HiTec.AI, a health-tech startup aiming to enhance human health through technology, and The Sweet Factory Inc., a holding company that focuses on quick-service restaurants and franchises, and the co-founder and CTO for AI4qaunt Inc., a health-tech company that has received many awards.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, Ms. Tung worked her way up from an engineering to a leadership position. She managed multiple hundred million products overseeing various aspects of the software development lifecycle while working at Oracle Inc.
Workflow optimization and solving business problems have always been her passion. She has developed many artificial intelligence and machine learning business tools. Under her leadership, her Test Suite Recommender System was filed for a U.S. patent in 2019 by Sage Intacct.
As the CTO and co-founder, she led AI4quant Inc. to win various awards and to represent Taiwan to attend one of Asia’s largest technology conferences.
Working with local schools and communities, Ms. Tung’s company The Sweet Factory Inc. created jobs and provided training opportunities to the bay area youth. Her business has grown 50% YoY during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During her spare time, she regularly volunteered at local non-profit homeless and animal shelters and organizations. She was honored with a Fostering Gold Award from Rescue Alliance through WKODIT, a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization for her compassion and hard work.
In 2018, Ms. Tung was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Woman of Influence for her influence in her industries, communities, and other leadership roles.
She is currently focused on fostering more women to be in leadership personally and professionally.
