Management Analyst

​Dave Hollis is a Management Analyst for a federal agency, where he is responsible for administrative oversight of programs involving over 180 sites throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, such as: donations of monuments, commemorative works and money in excess of $10,000; real estate acquisitions; requests to conduct ceremonies on properties; and serves as a subject matter expert of operations on a department-wide project team who are validating an integrated system to reduce administrative backlog in prioritization and approval of funding for projects.

Prior to his current assignment, Dave supervised a team of Emergency Management Specialists monitoring the operational readiness of 180 facilities and aided in responses to crises and emergencies related to man-made and natural disasters.

Previously, Dave was employed as a civilian by the U.S. Army, where he managed a team of operations specialists responsible for the readiness of over one-thousand soldiers on orders for combat operations overseas and operations in support of civil authorities within the United States.

Dave retired from the Army in 2010, having completed several deployments to hostile areas, and leading 189 combat missions. Dave has held leadership positions from small four-person teams to senior positions supervising over one-hundred soldiers, and finished his career training, mentoring and preparing military units from the US and foreign allied forces for combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dave has completed numerous programs of study through the American Military University; the Federal Emergency Management Administration’s (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification; and some of the most demanding leadership and tactical training courses in the US military.
