Area of Expertise
By way of background, I’ve had a successful 20+ year career driving technology initiatives and leading digital transformations across various industries including Financial Services, FinTech, Consultancy & Services, Telecommunications, and Start-up Advisory. My experience spans across Canada, the U.S., and other geographies such as UK, Ireland, Australia, and parts of APAC. I’ve worked throughout all phases of the business cycle, including high growth, downturns and acquisition integration. I’m recognized for my thought leadership, strategy formulation and collaboration, resulting in the creation and reinvention of innovative and differentiating business models that drive revenue growth, save costs, and meet regulatory controls.
Nagy recently co-founded Halo AI, Inc. the leading risk and compliance platform that’s transforming how companies increase resilience, manage risk, and stay ahead of compliance in a cost-effective way. He also serves on the Advisory Board of LeapYear Technologies, the global leader of Differential Privacy.
Additionally, over the past couple of years, he ran his own management consulting practice as Managing Partner of Future Unleashed Inc. where he worked with Enterprise Ireland to advise start-up companies evaluating their business plans and guiding their go-to-market strategies for penetrating the North American market. Prior to that, he held the role of Head, Strategy & Business Solutions, North America, for the Banking and Financial Services vertical at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) where he advised senior executives on their respective digital journeys and guided their teams to create strategies and deliver against relevant technology innovations. He also championed many partnerships with consulting firms, products’ providers and other suppliers.
Before TCS, Nagy ran technology for Canada’s largest bank as CIO, RBC Capital Markets, where he worked for 12 years. Responsibilities included formulating and delivering global IT strategies in support of business plans. Further, as CIO and Officer of the bank, he had chief accountability to the regulators in Canada, U.S., U.K. and other geographies.
