Amy Pelayo is driven by her passion for helping people and projects succeed and loves a good challenge. She started her career in project management on a government contract with the Department of Defense and was introduced to what she considers her “forever” career.

After spending 20+ years in a career in Information Technology at Sun Microsystems and Oracle, she took her education, certificates, and enthusiasm to tackle a challenge for Dealertrack Collateral Management Services in Sacramento. Today, she continues that challenge as the Sr Product Operations Manager.

Over the last 4+ years, Amy developed a Commercialization/Go-to-Market process that many other businesses have accepted under Cox Automotive Brands. This was a huge shift in her career from Information Technology to Product Management, but the one consistent in her career has been project & program management.

She is certified in Prince2 and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Her love for project management and bringing technology and business process together has continued to be what drives her passion for what she does today.

Amy spent over a decade giving back to the Indigenous Oxacana Indians in Mexico by advocating for them, setting them up to succeed in their country with land and shelter, clothes so their children could attend school, and many other special needs.

She became an expert in fundraising, using a hammer, planning house builds, and being responsible for up to 40+ adults and teenagers on week-long trips. When Amy is not working, you can find her at Estate Sales looking to find that one-of-a-kind treasure.
