I was born in Sendai, Japan. At three weeks old I was adopted by an American father and a British mother who were living in Tokyo at the time. I became a naturalized U.S. citizen in Norfolk, Virginia. By the time I was one year old we were living in the San Francisco Bay area. and I have happily been a Californian ever since. Through DNA testing I recently discovered that I am ethnic Korean, Japanese and Chinese. What a wonderful combination!
I am a mother to the sweetest 18-month-old, Lily, who keeps me on my toes and makes sure that I stay active! When I have time I love horse riding, reading, and travelling. My current favorite place is Croatia. It is a beautiful country with warm friendly people.
Since graduating from CSU Monterey Bay with a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing I have experience in a variety of industries consumer electronics, design, and baby products and companies My Brest Friend, Innovate Product Design. I believe I am an empathetic leader, one that leads by example and empowers people to reach their full potential.
For the past 4 years I have been with Moshi, a Taiwanese based, consumer electronics accessory company. Currently, I am the Head of Accounts. In 2021 I founded Lullaby Lane, a company dedicated to creating gift boxes for moms-to-be. As a mother myself, I noticed that there is a segment of the market being underserved. Most gifts received at baby showers and during pregnancy are for the baby. I created Lullaby Lane to make it easier to purchase useful, organic products specifically for the mom-to-be.
I am honored and excited to be joining the council. I very much look forward to meeting and helping wherever I can.
