Reylina Ruiz brings unique skills and experience to the Women in Leadership Advisory Council. Currently, Reylina serves as Branch Chief of Operations at the Department of General Services overseeing human resources, budgets, billing, procurement, facilities, training, performance metrics, and website content. Aside from directing these functions, she participates in the development and monitoring of strategic goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
Reylina holds a degree in business management and has over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in state government including previous roles at the Medical Board of California and the Department of Justice.
Reylina has worked extensively with multimillion-dollar budgets, examined workflows, created policy, and built relationships with stakeholders to reduce inefficiencies as she believes in quality and continuous improvement of services and processes.
She strives to identify the best ways to deliver high-quality services with the most effective use of resources and constantly challenges herself, her colleagues, and staff to set higher standards. Reylina is excited to leverage her experience, knowledge, and skills to serve program participants and contribute to creating a path for women in leadership.
