Ashley Kaplan has over 18 years of experience in continuous improvement, business operations, project management, revenue maximization, and customer service. Ashley is currently the Director of Audit and Continous Improvement at Chico State. She leads a team of business analysts specializing in Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, and system implementations for the Division of Business and Finance. Before that, she was a Senior Director of Operations at an SF-based healthcare company and served as senior staff for a healthcare consulting firm in the Bay Area.
Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from CSU Chico, where she graduated with distinction and was selected as the student commencement speaker for the master’s graduation ceremony. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. Most recently, Ashley earned her Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma and is working towards her Black Belt certification.
In her personal time, Ashley likes to spend time with her husband and 5-year-old son in her hometown of Chico, CA, enjoying all the activities that Chico has to offer families. She is a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction and loves to work out and stay active by skiing, bike riding, and hiking.
