Elissa has 15 years of non-profit experience, especially with youth adults and education. Throughout her career, Elissa believes in consistently reaching outward and building bridges that will create an effective change in closing systemic oppression.
She currently serves as the Associate Director of Institutional Giving with Year Up, a workforce development organization helping young adults gain the skills and training to overcome systemic barriers, empowering them to reach their full potential. Elissa is also a board member for the global NGO, Better World and has served on the Board of Directors for the American Association of University Women-San Jose.
